NJAWBO 2010-2011 Southern Region President

We are pleased to share our state organization representing Women Business Owners with you! Thirteen chapters throughout the state offer opportunity for Women Business Owners to meet and exchange energy, education and connections for business growth.

In the Southern Region we have 4 local chapters.  Our Tri-County Chapter (Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties) meets the fourth Thursday of each month at Uno Chicago Grill on Route 73 in Maple Shade.  Visit www.njawbo.org/tricounty for more information or email Julie Gablin, Tri-County Chapter President at alegredesigns@comcast.net.  We invite you to join us at our upcoming chapter meeting on November 18.

Meet the team and understand the benefits of NJAWBO. In this issue, we have highlighted four Tri-County Chapter members.  NJAWBO’s diverse, dynamic members are from different industries and different stages of business growth.  NJAWBO offers start up businesses opportunity to start on the right foot, growing businesses opportunity to continue the momentum of growth, and businesses of all sizes opportunity to leverage their business including certification as a WBO, education how-to’s and connections. Learn and grow by understanding what is working outside of your world and customize these strategies for your success.   The benefit of membership is local exposure through media and partners, statewide exposure and Corporate Sponsor interaction.

Everywhere you turn, NJAWBO provides access to information and resources that help you stay on top of your market, your business and your success.  NJAWBO’s Annual Conference is open to members and non-members. Visit our website www.njawbo.org for details. We host Events on Public Policy throughout the state and we have open relationships with our legislature – they care about what we think and we, NJAWBO, represent your voice in Trenton.  We host Diversity Events including our Annual Procurement Expo in April – last year over 450 women connected to understand and explore growth possibilities.  Don’t miss our 14th Annual in April 2011!

NJAWBO offers a wide range of opportunities that empower, engage and energize. I urge you to come and experience NJAWBO.  Attend a local chapter meeting. Call one of the Tri-County Chapter members represented here or contact me directly:  Kathleen Cashman, Southern Regional President at 609-234-9223 or kbcnjawbo@aol.com.
