Cosmetic Surgery – Not Just For Women Anymore!

Everyone wants to look and feel his or her best.  I have written a number of articles demonstrating the wonderful benefits of the procedures I perform every day in my practice.  Although typically more women undergo cosmetic procedures, men can benefit just as much if not more.  In today’s high-paced business world, men need to look sharp and fresh to their clients, staff, and colleagues.  A man’s appearance correlates with how capable or competent he is perceived.  In fact, looks can be directly tied to success both in the hiring process and in the workplace.

Justified or not, a man’s earning potential over a lifetime can be directly correlated to his appearance. No one wants to look tired and worn out.

Look at the photo of my patient in the highlighted box, a man in his late 50s. In the before photo, he gives the appearance of being half asleep and aged. He came to me with complaints regarding the heaviness of his upper eyelids. He underwent a one hour outpatient eyelift in the office. Look at the after photo and notice how much better he looks.   The world can see him for who he is, and not for the tired, heavy eyelids he used to have.  In particular, he shared with me how much brighter the world was and how it felt like a weight had been lifted from his eyes.  He remains true to his appearance, and does not look “altered” like some notable male celebrities after cosmetic eyelid surgery.

More and more men are realizing that they can gain significant benefits from cosmetic procedures.  The area around the eyes shows aging changes more than any other part of our face.  A reality of our society is that having a youthful appearance is tied to how we are perceived at work and in our private lives. Come meet with me to discuss how I can help you look and feel your best!
