I turned on the television just this morning and here is what I learned:
These are the constant types of messages women are bombarded with at any time of the day or night. What makes me sad is that I believe there are girls and women who do take these messages to heart. The net effect is we are left feeling that we are never good enough. But I know that I am not alone in the numbers of women coming together to let go of these “should be” messages.
I am but one in a number of a sizable and ever growing number of women who are, in fact, much smarter than advertisers give us credit! We are quietly, yet powerfully and effectively, re-writing the rules for success and taking action.
I’ve been on a quest to try and figure out what it is that differentiates some women who are wildly successful from others, with the same relative education, experience, passion and goals for success, who struggle. What is it that they possess that is unique? What is it that makes them stand out?
That unique difference is inside every single woman. In fact, there is no amount of money that can buy it. There is no way that it can be awarded or bestowed upon you. This powerful difference-maker is an essence, and it’s called “GLOW”.
To help others find their GLOW, I produced a movie called “The GLOW Project” it features fourteen unique and powerful women. (www.glowproject.org )

Here are just three of the powerful messages I learned from these remarkable women:
Get an Attitude of Gratitude
You can't GLOW if you are constantly sweating the small stuff.
Setbacks are Opportunities in Disguise
How many times have you found yourself saying, "Why me?"Perhaps the reason you're going through this situation is to strengthen you for something you will face later in life.
Share Your Light with Others
GLOW is like a candle. When you see someone who is out of GLOW, give them some of yours! When you are burning bright, everything else will be drawn to you—much like how the flowers turn and lean into the Sun.You can't truly GLOW unless you are constantly passing it along to others.
How about you?Are you GLOWing right now?Do you feel like your flame is about to go out? It's time to reach inside and reinforce or re-discover your essence. When realized, nurtured and expanded, GLOW becomes the key to true happiness and success.I invite you to come along with me and thousands of other women who are joining forces, to consciously and deliberately create a movement to embrace and expand GLOW.
