Welcome to the Spring
2010 issue of Camden County Woman Magazine!I think
I know what it feels like to be a butterfly emerging from a cocoon!
It
has certainly been a busy three months transitioning from our tabloid
on newsprint to our new quarterly gloss magazine format, but I think you
will agree it was well worth the wait.
Our loyal readers will
immediately notice the enhancements we have made to the design of Camden
County Woman. From our early days with our Victorian-themed cover to
our present-day cover design featuring community advocate Catherine
Gavin, Deputy County Administrator for Camden County Government, CCW has
evolved into a new and vibrant format.
What has not changed
however, is our mission of empowering women through knowledge. Our
magazine has become the publication of choice for proactive women
seeking information that they can use to take control of their health,
finances, legal matters and general well-being.
Of course, our
mission and every complimentary copy of CCW would not be possible
without the support of our advertisers and contributors who regularly
share their knowledge and expertise with our readers. We are truly
grateful for the opportunity to feature them in our publication!
I
would also like to congratulate and thank the outstanding women
featured in this issue on their accomplishments and commitments to
helping others in their communities. In addition, I want to thank
everyone who made our magazine transition possible: my talented and
gifted graphic designer, Rose Thomas, for our striking new layout and
design; Ron Farina for our magnificent “Outstanding Women of Camden
County” cover and editorial photography; Glori Gayster for her
compelling profiles of these remarkable ladies; my hardworking and
dedicated account executives, Maria Elliott and Jane Leonetti; and
finally, my family for their loving and continuing patience. And,
speaking of my family—what do think of my new “grand dogs”???
Have
a glorious Spring from all of us at
Camden
County Woman!
